Marcus Rashford, a forward for Manchester United, has been called a “world-class player” by some, but former Spurs striker Darren Bent disagrees.
Bent said that Bukayo Saka of Arsenal is more reliable than Rashford.
After a career-worst 2021-2022 season in which he was benched from the Red Devils’ squad, Rashford enjoyed a breakout 2022-2023 season.
In an interview with talkSPORT, Bent stated, “Too often in the previous few years, he’s had a phase where he will go hot, then go missing. You need a reliable person.
When people use the phrase “world-class,” I have to disagree. No way!
“When you compare the statistics that Rashford produces with those of Saka… Saka is considerably more reliable than Rashford; he contributes every week, goal or no goal.
Rashford has contributed to two goals and one assist through Man United’s first five games this season.
Man United’s highest-paid player at age 25 inked a new five-year contract in July.
