After a devastating 3-1 loss to Brighton on Saturday in the Premier League, British broadcaster Piers Morgan lashed out at Manchester United and their manager Erik Ten Hag.
Morgan, an avid supporter of Cristiano Ronaldo, has criticized Manchester United as a terrible team, saying that things have only gotten worse for Ten Hag’s squad since Ronaldo left Old Trafford last year.
And he brought up Ronaldo’s fight with Ten Hag from last year, saying that the Al-Nassr striker was justified in his harsh criticism of the Dutch trainer.
Morgan took advantage of Man United’s loss to Brighton at Old Trafford to criticize Ten Hag’s squad.
“As pathetic United get routed by Brighton at home, can ANYONE still dispute that @Cristiano was accurate about the club’s situation and Ten Hag? Since Ronaldo has left, things have gotten even worse,” Morgan lamented on X (previously Twitter).
The three goals scored by Brighton’s Danny Welbeck, Pascal Gross, and Joao Pedro helped them beat Manchester United.
Man U is now in 13th place in the Premier League rankings with six points after five games.
