On Saturday, Inter Miami lost 5-2 to Atlanta United, their first loss since Lionel Messi’s arrival.
Messi was not included in the game’s active roster and hence did not play.

Atlanta clinched the game in the second with to goals from Georgios Giakoumakis and Tyler Wolff. After this win, they are presently sixth in the MLS Eastern Conference.
Miami’s 12-game winning streak in all competitions came to an end despite two goals from Leonardo Campana.
